A World That Survived.
Eight centuries ago, the seas climbed their shores, a continent vanished behind a wall of storms, and another lost most of its daylight.
Cities fell. Roads ended in open water. Families woke to find that the places they called home had become unreachable.
People call that age the Fracture.
No surviving account agrees on what caused
it.
But gardens grow on drowned roofs. Mountain towns light their windows for strangers. Somewhere beyond the storms, a machine still opens its doors each morning for workers who have been dead for centuries.
Aureth
Mountains, lakes, fertile valleys, rival crowns and roads that almost reach their promised destinations. Its beauty is real. So are its hungry winters, inherited feuds and bargains made beneath respectable banners.
The Lantern Sea
By night, household lanterns turn the shipping lanes into constellations. Below them lie the avenues of drowned cities. Between tropical islands, pirates, pearl divers and shipwright families make their lives upon the water.
Mournfen
Only four hours of sunlight reach the marshes each day. Foreign courts call it a land of the forsaken. The people who live here have their own names for it: refuge, prison, inheritance, home.
Veyr
Beyond the Crownstorm, broken towers rise through forests. Guardians patrol gates that no living government remembers building. Scattered artifact pieces and book pages may teach you how to challenge the storm. They cannot promise you safe passage.
